DORCUS KEDIBONE MANYANYE
Dorcas Kedibone Manyanye is a talented and accomplished creative artist whose passion for the arts has evolved into a thriving professional career. Born and raised in Mohlakeng, a township in Randfontein, South Africa, she discovered her calling in the arts at the age of 12. From an early age, she had the privilege of working alongside respected artists and industry professionals who mentored and inspired her, nurturing her talent and encouraging her to transform her passion into a lifelong profession.
Dorcas holds a Diploma in Performing Arts Technology, specializing in Make-up and Art/Props, as well as a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Performing Arts Technology, specializing in Make-up with a focus on Prosthetics and Special Effects, both obtained from Tshwane University of Technology. She is currently furthering her academic journey and is in the process of obtaining her Master’s degree.
Over the years, Dorcas has built a successful career within the arts and entertainment industry. Her expertise in make-up artistry, prosthetics, special effects, and creative design has enabled her to work on major film and television productions, earning recognition for her professionalism, creativity, and dedication to excellence.
She is the founder and owner of Kay M Entertainment and Funky Dunk Make-up. The company was established in 2017 while she was still a second-year university student. What began as a dream and passion project has grown into an award-winning make-up company that continues to make a significant impact within the beauty, film, and entertainment industries.
Under her leadership, Funky Dunk Make-up has received notable recognition, including features in two published articles, a national radio interview on YFM, and the prestigious award for Best Special Effects Make-up Company. Through innovation, hard work, and a commitment to excellence, Dorcas continues to inspire aspiring artists while contributing meaningfully to South Africa’s creative and entertainment sectors.
